Fish Nursery

The Ickesburg Sportsmen's Association is a cooperative nursery with the PA Fish and Boat Commission. Each year, we raise 5000 to 6000 trout in our nursery for stocking in local streams. The fish are provided by the Fish Commission, but we must maintain the nursery and purchase the feed.

Meet at club at 9:30 AM

Saturday, March 9 : Upper Buffalo, Iron Bridge to Red Covered Bridge

Saturday, March 16:  Rt 74 Bridge Area

Saturday,  March 23: Pather and Saville

Thursday,  March 28: Middle Buffalo

Thursday, April 4: Lower Buffalo and Raccoon

Saturday, April 13: Upper Buffalo, Iron Bridge to Red Covered Bridge

Saturday, April 20 : 74 Bridge and Panther

Thursday, May 2: Shenandoah and Saville

Thursday, May 16: Lower Buffalo and Raccoon

In the event of bad wather or high streams, the stocking will take place the following Wednesday at 1:00 PM
